The R. W. Crosthwait, Sr. Cardiac Rehabilitation Center is a natural continuation of the medical services offered at The Heart Hospital at Providence. The center is designed to help individuals who have suffered heart attacks, undergone cardiac surgery, or suffer from cardiovascular disease to regain and maintain his or her maximum quality of life through carefully monitored physical conditioning and an enhancement of continued compliance to physical guidelines. A two-phase outpatient program is offered in an attractive setting with team support and individualized instruction from experienced medical professionals, utilizing a combination of progressive exercise, education, and counseling.
