The Congestive Heart failure clinic opened in 2001 as a physician-directed, nurse-managed clinic providing comprehensive care for patients with the diagnosis of heart failure. Working with the physician to provide long-term outpatient management are experienced, Advanced Cardiac Life Support certified, cardiovascular nurses who have received specialized training in the treatment of congestive heart failure. Infusion therapy, medication assistance, and in-depth teaching about their disease process and lifestyle are just a few of the services available to the CHF clinic patient.
