The Cardiac Intensive Care Unit is staffed with the most experienced staff of professionals in the area. A highly trained team of physicians, registered nurses, respiratory technicians, laboratory personnel and support staff provides specialized care of the acutely ill patient utilizing state of the art equipment. Patients who have had heart attack, cardiac surgery, and other procedures spend time in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit before moving to the Cardiac Nursing and Step Down Unit.
